Descripción de la vacante

Bluelightconsulting is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business problems into clear, buildable requirements. You’ll bridge clients, product teams, and engineers—leading discovery, mapping processes, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensuring delivered solutions solve the intended problem.

You’ll work on client builds, maintenance engagements, and internal products, shaping scope and estimates. Strong English, Jira, and collaboration with design and QA are essential.

Formación

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role on software projects.
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment.
• Proven ability to run discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Comfort with process mapping and data modeling at a business level.
• Hands-on experience with Jira; familiarity with Figma and collaborative docs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with clients and internal teams to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
• Support new-project sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories for engineering estimation.
• Identify assumptions, risks, dependencies, and open questions early and drive resolution.
• Write clear user stories with testable acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize and groom the backlog ahead of each sprint.
• Work with UI/UX design in Figma to ensure flows and screens match requirements and flag gaps.
• Explain engineering questions during the sprint and keep requirements current.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure acceptance criteria map to solid test coverage.
• Support sprint demos and coordinate user acceptance testing with clients.
• Organize requirements docs in Google Drive for traceability.
• Capture compliance, security, and audit requirements (SOC 2 considerations) up front.
• Act as a trusted contact for clients on scope and requirements questions.
• Translate between business and technical audiences clearly and without jargon.
• Surface scope changes early and articulate tradeoffs to team and client.
