Job summary
AgileEngine is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales automation initiatives.
You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing, integrate Salesforce APIs including EVO and Omnichannel, and contribute to AI SDR automation workflows using Java or Python in an Agile sprint environment.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience in Java or Python
- REST API integration and webhook development
- Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems
- Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA
- Upper-intermediate English level
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices)
- Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules)
- Support AI SDR automation — including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing
- Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase
- Work within an agile sprint process with a JIRA-based backlog (GTMDR project)
