Prometeo Talent is partnering with a US-based cybersecurity startup to hire a Senior Backend Engineer. You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Java and Python, with a focus on distributed systems and reliable data pipelines.

You’ll own features end-to-end, leverage AI-assisted development workflows, and collaborate with a high-tempo, highly technical team. The role is 100% remote for LATAM, offering strong ownership and growth opportunities.

Formación

• 8+ years in software/backend development.
• 5+ years building production-grade Python backend systems.
• Strong experience with Java.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based development in production.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features end-to-end from design to monitoring and optimization.
