Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also handles manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and ensure high-quality software releases across global platforms.

Responsibilities include functional, exploratory, and regression testing, collaborating with developers and product teams to improve testability and acceptance criteria, and maintaining regression suites

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic quality engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts supporting app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Log pass/fail conditions and relate to bugs.
• Identify risks to product quality.
• Collaborate with product team across SDLC and releases.
• Work with customer teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in effort estimations and planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
