Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual tests for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain robust test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate with developers to ensure testability and acceptance criteria.

Applicants should have 4+ years in QA, hands-on Playwright and WebdriverIO/Appium, and experience with Electron or React Native apps on iOS/Android devices. Remote-friendly fintech environment with AI testing considerations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, incl. iOS/Android devices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
