AgileEngine is seeking a Software QA engineer to drive quality across our applications. You will design and implement automated tests, perform manual validation, and uphold QA standards in collaboration with product and engineering teams.

The role supports both remote and office work environments, offering growth and exposure to Fortune 500 projects. You will write Gherkin-based tests, participate in CI/CD, and contribute to ongoing quality initiatives while engaging with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts supporting app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Log pass/fail criteria and map failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to product quality.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC and releases.
• Engage with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing strategy.
• Assist in refinement and effort estimation for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
