AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation and manual testing experience for desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain automated tests, integrate into CI/CD, investigate failures, and work with developers to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities include functional, exploratory, and regression testing, plus hands-on QA in a fast-paced, distributed environment. Remote-friendly with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset required.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other tests.
• Record detailed feature behavior and test pass/fail conditions.
• Correlate failures to bugs and report issues clearly.
• Identify risks to product quality and process quality.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Incorporate user feedback into testing strategy with customer-facing teams.
• Assist in effort estimation and planning.
