Keet, a product by Tether, is expanding its engineering leadership to scale a fully peer-to-peer messaging platform built on Holepunch’s stack. You will lead the API and frontend teams, partnering with product while owning the engineering bar and the how of delivery at global scale.

We seek an engineering leader with strong JavaScript/React skills, a proven track record shipping consumer apps, and a passion for distributed, offline-first systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams that ship consumer products at speed.
• Strong product sense and ability to collaborate with PMs as equals.
• Intuition for distributed, local-first systems and P2P engines.
• Deep JavaScript and React expertise.

Responsabilités

• Run the API and frontend teams day to day, unblock, and ship.
• Set and hold a high engineering bar for performance, reliability, and clean APIs.
• Own the technical design of features and the API surface between Keet's core and the app.
• Collaborate with product to turn vision into scoped, buildable work.
• Mentor team leads to build strong operating systems and teamwork.
