Pomelo; Municipio de Rincón de los Sauces; Remoto; ARS 212.038.000 - 318.057.000; Tempo pieno

Descrizione del lavoro

Keet is a fully peer-to-peer messaging app built on Holepunch's P2P stack. We’re taking Keet to a billion users and are seeking a Product Engineering Lead to turn vision into features at global scale.

You will lead the API and frontend teams, report to the CTO, and collaborate with product. The role balances engineering leadership (roughly 70%) with product partnership (30%), and requires deep JavaScript and React expertise.

Competenze

• Experience managing engineers or engineering leads who ship consumer products, ideally in chat, calling, or social apps.
• Strong product sense: you can tell a good feature from a busy one.
• Intuition for distributed and local-first systems. Offline-first and eventual consistency should feel natural.
• Deep JavaScript and React experience.

Mansioni

• Run the API and frontend teams day to day: unblocking, reviewing, and keeping them shipping.
• Set and hold a high engineering bar for performance, reliability, and clean APIs.
• Own the technical design of features and the API surface between Keet's core and the app.
• Make sure the API team works closely with our deep tech teams on code reviews, design, and anything that touches the engine.
• Work alongside product managers to turn vision into scoped, buildable work.
• Push back when scope doesn't match reality and propose better paths.
• Lead by example: mentor team leads and grow as leaders.
• Provide engineering perspective to product decisions, especially for distributed, local-first systems.
