Sezzle seeks a Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Intern to join our People Operations team. You will work across US, Canada, Colombia and Latin America, gaining hands-on exposure to multi-country payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.

This internship offers a learning-focused path with potential for full-time conversion based on performance, and you will collaborate with US-based teams, perform data quality checks, and contribute to AI-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

• Finance student or recent graduate with strong analytical and data‑driven mindset.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel; attention to detail essential.
• English and Spanish language skills; collaboration with US teams.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll operations across US, Canada and Colombia, including data entry, reconciliation and documentation.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, terminations and lifecycle changes in HRIS and benefits platforms.
• Perform data quality checks across payroll, benefits and HRIS systems to identify discrepancies.
• Support audits (monthly, quarterly, year-end) and compensation benchmarking activities.
• Help manage vendor invoices, reconciliations and payment requests for payroll and benefits.
• Maintain employee files with local regulatory compliance and document processes for automation.
