Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support recruiting practices and candidate experience in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will help manage the ATS, schedule screens, and contribute to best-practice recruiting strategies while gaining exposure to campus recruiting events and data analytics.

The role requires pursuing a degree in psychology or HR, with a passion for startups and strong interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and research.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• Background and/or education in HR, People Operations, Recruiting, and/or Organizational Development.
• Interest in startups.
• Demonstrated experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update the Applicant Tracking System.
• Schedule and perform phone screens.
• Help implement a Recruiting Best Practice strategy.
• Assist in building an event calendar, including career fairs, campus visits, and networking meetups.
• Assist with candidate pipeline reporting and analysis.
