Prometeo Talent is partnering with a U.S.-based client to hire a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) who will work on large consumer and retail datasets. You will translate data into actionable metrics, ensure data quality, and present results to stakeholders in English. This role welcomes graduates and mid-level analysts alike.

The ideal candidate has solid SQL and Python skills, a numbers-focused mindset, and can bridge technical results with business strategy in a fully remote LATAM environment.

Qualificações

• 0–4 years in Data Analysis or similar roles
• Advanced English (written and spoken)
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills with join logic
• Python for data cleaning and processing (pandas)
• Familiarity with scikit-learn or statsmodels for models
• Experience with messy text data cleaning and parsing
• Understanding of relational DB design and normalization
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework in databases/data analysis

Responsabilidades

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries from relational databases and data warehouses
• Develop and validate machine learning or statistical models to forecast trends
• Compute core metrics like market share and purchasing trends
• Create and maintain data tables and dashboards for stakeholders
• Audit query outputs and ensure data integrity before insights
• Segment data using filters and conditional logic
• Parse and categorize unstructured text data
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders
