Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) for a fully remote role serving LATAM. You will work with large-scale consumer datasets, turning raw data into actionable insights using SQL and Python.

Ideal candidates have strong English, a quantitative degree, and experience with data cleaning, modeling, and dashboard-ready outputs. Open to recent graduates as well as mid-level analysts seeking to deepen technical skills.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years in Data Analysis or related roles.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills, including JOINs and CASE WHEN.
• Python scripting with pandas for multi-step transformations.
• Familiarity with scikit-learn or statsmodels for predictive modeling.
• Experience cleaning/parsing messy text fields.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and data normalization.
• Bachelor's degree with quantitative coursework.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and run SQL queries from relational databases and data warehouses.
• Develop and validate machine learning or statistical models to forecast trends.
• Aggregate and transform raw data to compute core metrics (penetration, market share).
• Build and maintain tables/views feeding dashboards and reports.
• Audit query results and ensure data integrity before insights.
• Segment data with conditional logic to identify cohorts.
• Parse and categorize unstructured text data.
• Translate technical results into concise summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
