Prometeo Talent is partnering with a U.S.-based company to recruit a Data Analyst (Machine Learning). The role focuses on transforming large consumer/retail data into actionable metrics, with strong SQL and Python skills and excellent English communication.

The ideal candidate ranges from recent graduates to mid-level analysts and will work remotely across LATAM, translating results for stakeholders and supporting dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with database coursework.
• Strong SQL and Python for data cleaning, manipulation and modeling.
• Experience with ML or statistical modeling libraries is a plus.
• Ability to translate results into clear stakeholder summaries in English.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate machine learning or statistical models to forecast trends.
• Slice and aggregate data to calculate core metrics like market share and trends.
• Build clean data tables and dashboards feeding recurring reports.
• Audit outputs and ensure data integrity before insights are shared.
• Segment data with conditional logic to identify tracking cohorts.
• Parse and categorize unstructured text data for analysis.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
