Prometeo Talent partners with a U.S.-based company to recruit a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) for a 100% remote LATAM role. You will work with large-scale consumer and retail datasets, turning raw data into actionable metrics and insights in English.

The ideal candidate has solid SQL and Python skills, a strong numerical sense, and can translate technical results into stakeholder-ready summaries. Open to a range of levels from recent grads to mid-level professionals.

Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or similar roles.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills, including complex JOIN logic and CASE WHEN.
• Python scripting for data cleaning and processing, with pandas proficiency.
• Familiarity with modeling libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate machine learning, predictive, or statistical matching models.
• Slice, unpivot, and aggregate raw data to calculate core metrics like household penetration, market share, and trends.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views feeding dashboards and reports.
• Review query outputs, perform data audits, and ensure data integrity before insights.
• Use filtering to segment data and isolate tracking cohorts.
• Translate technical data structures into clear summaries for stakeholders.
