Prometeo Talent is recruiting for a Data Analyst (Machine Learning) to join a U.S.-based client. The role blends SQL and Python with ML concepts, turning raw consumer data into actionable insights in an English-speaking environment.

The position embraces 100% remote LATAM work with a spectrum of experience levels from new graduates to mid-level analysts seeking to deepen technical data manipulation skills.

Qualifications

• 0 to 4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, or similar roles.
• Advanced English level (written and spoken).
• Foundational to intermediate SQL skills, including complex JOIN logic and CASE WHEN.
• Python scripting for data cleaning and processing, with proficiency in pandas.
• Familiarity with modeling libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels.
• Experience working with messy text fields: cleaning, parsing, filtering, and pattern matching.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and data normalization.
• Bachelor's degree in related field with coursework covering DB management or analytics.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop, run, and validate ML, predictive, or statistical models to uncover consumer behaviors and forecast trends.
• Slice, unpivot, and aggregate data to calculate core metrics like household penetration and market share.
• Build and maintain clean data tables and views feeding dashboards and reports.
• Review outputs, audit data, and ensure accuracy before insights are shared.
• Use conditional logic to segment data and isolate tracking cohorts.
• Clean, parse, and categorize unstructured text data.
• Translate technical results into clear summaries for English-speaking stakeholders.
