Day Translations is seeking a Project Manager for the Localization and Interpretations Department. This remote role supports clients worldwide, bridging between clients and freelance translators or interpreters, coordinating budgets, timelines, and QA.

Ideal candidates have experience in translation, localization, project management, and customer service; knowledge of CAT tools like Smartcat, MemoQ, and Trados is a plus; strong communication and cross-cultural skills required.

Formación

• Experience in project management, business administration, and customer service.
• Knowledge in Localization and Interpretation for the Project Manager role.
• Knowledge and experience using CAT tools like Smartcat and MemoQ.
• Knowledge and experience using Translation Management systems like Trados.
• University degree in Business Administration, Translations, or any relevant field is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform evaluation of costs and prepare project budgets and quotes for clients.
• Coordinate all the project phases and efficiently predict the lifespan of all the stages of the project, through an achievable deadline.
• Utilize tools such as Plunet for time tracking and take full ownership of projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring accountability, efficiency, and successful delivery from start to finish.
• Adhere to applicable policies and procedures.
• Answer client queries thoroughly via chats, phone calls, and emails on time.
• Report activity in group chats and actively communicate with peers on tasks being worked on.
• Negotiate deadlines and rates with freelancers based on HR freelancer databases.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with freelancers globally.
• Monitor and control project status.
• Manage project finances, including budgeting.
• Perform quality checks at various stages of the process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final eye).
• Handle freelancer queries.
