Maxit Consulting - Max Corporate Group is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to handle complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries from a remote Argentina-based role. The candidate will work in shifts aligned with US business hours and utilize Zendesk, spreadsheets, and proprietary AI-assisted workflows.

The role requires strong accounting and tax knowledge, excellent English communication, and the ability to investigate and resolve escalated

Qualifications

Professional accounting experience with US accounting/tax exposure.
Strong bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
Experience handling complex tax inquiries and customer-facing financial support.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
Assist customers with tax inquiries, notices, filing status, and tax return questions.
Support payroll questions and processing issues.
Communicate findings via Zendesk, email, and scheduled calls.
Independently investigate issues and identify root causes.
Document resolutions and maintain customer records.
Identify recurring issues and improve workflows and knowledge resources.
Learn and adapt to proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
