Job summary

Bridgenext is seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Platform Operations Manager to own the servers, virtualization, network, and data center coordination that keep client infrastructure running. This is a remote LATAM contract role, preferably Argentina, focusing on architecture, coordination, and DR/backup rather than hands-on hardware work.

The role requires ownership of a multi-host VMware environment, DNS and TLS management, and on-call incident response.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Windows Server administration and Entra ID management.
• 4 years VMware vSphere/vCenter administration at multi-host scale.
• 2+ years coordinating with colocation or data center facilities and SLA management.
• 2+ years enterprise network and firewall administration including VPN and load balancers.
• Ownership of a backup and disaster recovery program with regular DR tests.
• Experience with 24x7 on-call production incidents.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server and Active Directory with Entra ID sync, GPOs, LAPS, and domain security groups.
• Operate and maintain VMware vSphere/vCenter across roughly 20 ESXi hosts, including storage and vSAN.
• Plan hardware refresh cycles and capacity upgrades within budget and lifecycle decisions.
• Coordinate with colocation on rack/power, notices, invoices, contracts, SLA renewals, and destruction per SOC 2.
• Administer firewalls, VPN, and load balancers; migrate to F5 BIG-IP and maintain WAN routes.
• Manage DNS, domain renewals, and TLS/wildcard certificate renewals.
• Own backup and DR for infrastructure and VMs, including annual DR tests.
• Lead 24x7 on-call rotation and incident response for infrastructure issues.
• Manage vendor/licence renewals and cost modeling with Finance.
