Job summary

Sweat Pants Agency in a fully remote setup is seeking a seasoned Google Ads Media Buyer / Growth Strategist to own end-to-end client campaigns for DTC/eCommerce brands. You will manage budgets from mid five figures to six figures monthly and directly interface with clients, crafting plans and explaining decisions.

You must be fluent in the full ads stack, comfortable with attribution and experimentation, and ready to build landing pages or scripts when needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Google Ads with meaningful spend on DTC/eCommerce.
• Fluent in full stack: Search, Shopping, PMax, Demand Gen, YouTube, Merchant Center, GA4, GTM.
• AI native; build and ship a landing page with Claude.
• Communicate ideas in English at native/near-native level.
• Skeptical of numbers; prefer holdout testing.
• Can work US Eastern business hours for client calls.
• Bonus: built/operated your own Shopify store or ran Meta at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own a set of DTC accounts as strategist, buyer, and client contact; budgets begin at $5k/mo and can reach six figures.
• Audit accounts before touching anything and walkthrough findings with clients.
• Run brand and non-brand separately; report them distinctly.
• Know what PMax is actually doing and separate branded vs. non-branded volume.
• Keep Google's automation on a leash and audit auto features.
• Own the feed and Merchant Center hygiene, tracking, and campaigns.
• Build or adapt landing pages and scripts as needed to remove constraints.
• Report results, plans, and reasoning directly to clients.
• Be ready to defend your decisions and push back when needed.
