Parexel is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to work remotely from anywhere in Argentina. You will join the Controllership team supporting LATAM entities and lead critical close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations in a global, fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP, and opportunities to streamline processes. A CPA or equivalent certification is preferred, with strong Excel and Oracle ERP skills and English proficiency.

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or Record-to-Report processes.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and Oracle ERP.
• English advanced proficiency required.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain General Ledger journal entries with documentation.
• Own key aspects of the monthly close process including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy of balance sheet and P&L under US GAAP and Local GAAP.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with reporting packages.
• Support statutory financial statement preparation and GAAP reconciliations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to manage intercompany transactions and closings.
• Assist with audits and provision of reporting packages for leadership.
• Support tax filings including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive implementations.
