EY Global Delivery Services in Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Associate to support LE and GL accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and meet closing deadlines.

The role emphasizes reconciliation, journal entries, and intercompany activities, while collaborating with offshore/onshore teams and maintaining high data integrity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (SFRS/IFRS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerApps) and ERP systems (SAP).
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, including intercompany accounts.
• Manage Entity Setups, Organization Structure and Chart of Accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal reports.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze financial data to prepare reports and identify trends.
