Parexel International is hiring a General Ledger Accountant to work remotely from Argentina within the LATAM Controllership team. The role focuses on accuracy, GAAP compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced global environment.

You will own month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany activities, and tax support while collaborating across functions to deliver high-quality financial reporting.

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or Record-to-Report processes
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Interest in automation systems, AI tools, and process improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
• English advance proficiency required

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain General Ledger journal entries with documentation
• Own monthly close process including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Ensure balance sheet and P&L accuracy under US GAAP and Local GAAP
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Support statutory financial statements and GAAP reconciliations
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and closing activities
• Assist with audits and leadership reporting packages
• Support tax filings including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and withholding taxes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
