SearchApi is seeking a builder‑designer hybrid to make a developer‑facing product feel premium. You design it in Figma and ship it yourself in Hotwire. If you sweat the 200 ms of jank and you have both taste and production craft, this role is for you.

We build real‑time SERP data tools with a lean, bootstrapped team. You’ll own the dashboard, API playgrounds, and docs, delivering a data‑dense, polished experience for engineers across platforms.

Formación

• Production frontend you designed and built yourself.
• Strong server-rendered, component-based stack experience (Rails + Hotwire preferred).
• Fluent in Tailwind and a design tool like Figma.

Responsabilidades

• Design and ship features from Figma to production PRs.
• Own the dashboard: analytics, history, billing, API keys.
• Build interactive API playgrounds with real requests and live JSON.
• Own the docs and marketing experience for a coherent component system.
• Create honest data visualizations with a semantic color system.
• Push towards native HTML-first, reducing JS bundle bloat.
