Beacon AI is seeking a Staff Frontend Software Engineer to lead the frontend team and architect high-performance web interfaces for aviation data. You will drive design, implementation, and collaboration with backend, product, and UX teams to deliver actionable insights and robust UX.

You will mentor engineers, uphold best practices, and build reusable components. Hybrid work in San Carlos (onsite 3+ days) with remote days, and a strong emphasis on safety-critical data visualization.

Formación

• 9+ years building high-performance web apps.
• Expert in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with real-time/live data streams and visualization.
• Ownership of features from concept to delivery with autonomy.
• Able to work in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Strong focus on code quality, performance, and mentorship.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement React-based features for the frontend system.
• Integrate and visualize data from multiple live and archived sources.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices through reviews.
• Collaborate with backend, PMs, and UX/UI for informed decisions.
• Ensure reliability via tests, docs, and engineering standards.
• Build reusable components and internal libraries.
