Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an RFM Applications Engineer to act as the technical field expert for Kantori Remote Fluid Monitoring. You will deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot systems, collaborate with customers and field teams, and drive value realization through data-driven recommendations.

This role emphasizes coordinating with Drilling Fluids, Digital, Engineering, and Product Management, delivering training, and ensuring documentation and best practices are followed. Field travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with digital technologies, remote monitoring systems, instrumentation, automation platforms, sensors, or industrial control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience interacting directly with customers and operational teams in field environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical/operational data into business value for customers.
• Willingness to travel and work in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and calibrate Kantori RFM systems at customer locations.
• Support pre-job planning, operational readiness reviews, and field deployments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, communication, connectivity, and data integration issues.
• Support technology trials, pilots, and new product introductions.
• Analyze data trends and provide recommendations to optimize drilling fluid performance.
• Collaborate with Drilling Fluids operations to integrate RFM workflows.
• Demonstrate technical and economic value of RFM technology to customers.
• Deliver training and technical support to customers and Baker Hughes personnel.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and best practices.
• Work with Digital, Engineering, and Product teams for continuous improvement.
