Job summary

BairesDev is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of ML engineers, mentor top talent, and drive product roadmaps in a fully remote setting.

You will collaborate with Product, Data, ML, and Design to define ambitious roadmaps, write and review production-grade code when needed, and steer architectural decisions for scalable ML-powered features. Strong English and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development with 2+ years in a leadership/engineering management role.
• Strong programming skills in modern languages (TypeScript, Python, Go, or Java).
• Deep understanding of system design, APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with data-driven applications or ML collaboration.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Background building and scaling ML-powered features or strong CS fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers, hiring, coaching, and developing top talent.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, ML, and Design to define and deliver roadmaps.
• Write, review, and ship production-grade code when needed.
• Drive architectural decisions for scalable, reliable systems.
• Oversee technical execution of ML features with data scientists and ML engineers.
