Zusammenfassung

Proofpoint is seeking a curious and self-motivated DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across AWS and other providers. You will own CI/CD pipelines, security, logging, and compliance with company policies, requiring strong IaC and container orchestration skills.

You will contribute to scalable, reliable systems, participate in on-call rotations, and work in a remote Argentina setting with a global team dedicated to protecting data and people.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps / SRE (some years could be substituted by software engineering).
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as a Code.
• Solid understanding of AWS services (or other clouds).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch & supporting existing ones.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog).
• Coding skills in at least one programming language (Go, JS, Python).
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and infrastructure monitoring.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on AWS (and other cloud providers).
• Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Drive automation across build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Maintain security standards of infrastructure (containers, application dependencies, terraform dependencies, firewalls, service meshes, etc.).
• Participation in on call rotations (primarily during your daytime).
