Proofpoint is seeking a DevOps/SRE professional to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure on AWS and other cloud platforms. You will build IaC with Terraform, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and enforce logging, monitoring, and security across complex environments.

The role involves automation, on-call rotations, and collaborating across global teams to ensure availability and resilience. A strong background in cloud services, scripting, and monitoring tools is essential.

Formación

• Experience in AI driven development & debugging.
• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps / SRE (some years could be substituted by experience in software engineering in general)
• Strong hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as a Code
• Solid understanding of AWS services (or other clouds)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch & supporting existing ones
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog)
• Coding skills in at least one programming language (Go, JS, Python)
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and infrastructure monitoring

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on AWS (and other cloud providers)
• Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Drive automation across build, deployment, and operational tasks
• Maintain security standards of infrastructure (containers, application dependencies, terraform dependencies, firewalls, service meshes, etc.)
• Participation in on call rotations (primarily during your daytime)
