Job summary

Safe Harbor SB is seeking a reliable Bookkeeper to manage daily client-fund reconciliation, payment preparation, and reporting. You will report to the CEO and collaborate with the financial operations lead to maintain accurate accounts and dependable daily operations.

The role involves reconciling deposits from multiple platforms for about 55 clients, using QuickBooks and Wave, and delivering timely statements and cash-movement reports.

Qualifications

• At least two years of practical bookkeeping experience including reconciliations, imports/exports, payments, and routine reporting.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Proficiency with Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas) for reconciliation and reporting.
• C1 or C2 English level.
• Availability to work full-time, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile client funds daily for ~55 clients and apply deductions and repayments.
• Process transactions and prepare payments; download, sort, and allocate bank transactions; upload to Wave.
• Prepare weekly commission reports for origination partners.
• Provide internal cash-movement reports to the client-service team.
• Produce client statements and reconciliation reports explaining funds and settlements.
