Scale Up Recruiting Partners is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable Python backend systems supporting AI and GenAI solutions for enterprise clients. You will own API design, deployment, monitoring, and long-term maintenance in a fully remote environment.

Ideal candidates have strong Python backend development experience, familiarity with FastAPI/Flask/Django, and hands-on AWS and Docker experience.

Formación

• Strong professional experience with Python backend development.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend services.
• Exposure to AI/ML or GenAI applications, including model integrations, vector databases, embeddings, or document-processing systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Docker and modern deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and service-to-service communication.
• Understanding of functional programming concepts and maintainable software design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Professional-level English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build scalable backend systems using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Develop services for document retrieval, processing pipelines, and AI/GenAI workflows.
• Design reliable APIs that connect AI models, vector databases, embedding services, and other systems.
• Build reusable Python components that integrate with AWS services.
• Work with containers, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
• Implement logging, metrics, tracing, and internal tools to monitor performance and reliability.
• Write clean, testable, and reusable code while separating business logic from infrastructure.
• Take ownership of backend systems and technical decisions end-to-end
