Scale Up Recruiting Partners is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect for a remote, Argentina-based role. You will lead design, implementation and delivery of AWS customer projects, driving cloud migration and modernization efforts.

You will stay hands-on throughout project lifecycles, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to define roadmaps and successful outcomes.

• Lead AWS migration initiatives from on-premise environments to AWS.
• Build innovative proof-of-concepts and contribute to the company’s technical strategy.
• Mentor team members on AWS services, cloud migration strategies, and technical best practices.
• Remain hands-on through the full project lifecycle, from solution design through implementation.

About The Role

Our client is looking to hire an accomplished, client-facing AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of AWS customer projects.

You will be a key technical leader across cloud migration, modernization, and DevOps initiatives—guiding customer conversations, designing high-impact solutions and proofs of concept, and staying hands-on throughout project execution.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on AWS expertise, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.
• Proven experience leading successful AWS migration and modernization projects.
• Strong DevOps experience, including Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, or CircleCI.
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain and demo technical solutions to clients.
• AWS Professional and Specialty certifications are highly valued.
• Experience with Data, Machine Learning, AI, or open-source tools is a plus.
• Advanced English communication skills.
