Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, including automation, tooling, and incident management.
You will maintain platform reliability, implement observability, onboard clients, and build automation to scale capacity while reducing manual effort. This role offers flextime with remote and office options and exposure to Fortune 500 and innovative clients.
Qualifications
- 4+ years hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
- Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
- Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).
- Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems from application to infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
- Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks and documentation.
- Manage incidents end-to-end, including incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
- Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
