Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. You will own incident management, automation, and tooling to ensure reliable performance for Fortune 500 and startup clients.

The role emphasizes hands-on Kubernetes in production, strong Linux skills, and collaboration with cloud environments. Flexible schedule with remote/office options is offered.

Qualifications

4+ years hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
Strong Linux and CLI fundamentals.
Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the Kubernetes platform across public and private clouds.
Use observability tooling to keep alerts actionable with runbooks and documentation.
Manage incidents from end-to-end including RCA and post-incident reviews.
Onboard and support new clients on the platform.
Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.
