Veta Virtual is seeking an AML Analyst for a global cryptocurrency client to monitor and investigate suspicious activity across kiosks and digital platforms while enforcing AML/BSA regulations and preparing regulatory filings.

This 100% remote role requires hands-on compliance expertise, knowledge of KYC/CDD, OFAC screening, and experience with blockchain analytics tools. LATAM or Europe-based candidates are welcome; competitive USD salary and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Hands-on experience in AML/BSA/compliance or related financial-crime role.
• Solid understanding of AML/BSA regulations, KYC/CDD, and sanctions screening (OFAC).
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Sharp attention to detail to spot patterns and inconsistencies.
• Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills for regulators and auditors.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate and assess financial risks posed by the kiosk network and platform operations; monitor high-risk activity.
• Review transaction monitoring alerts to identify suspicious activity and document findings per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct KYC/CDD reviews and screen against OFAC and other sanctions lists.
• Prepare and file SARs and other regulatory filings accurately and on time.
• Use blockchain analytics tools to trace cryptocurrency transactions and assess counterparty risk.
• Communicate with regulators and auditors to explain risk monitoring and prioritization techniques.
• Report on organization-wide risk mitigation performance and surface actionable trends.
• Examine data and processes to ensure AML program compliance and suggest improvements.
• Stay current on evolving AML/BSA regulations and crypto-specific compliance requirements.
• Take on other compliance duties and special projects as assigned.
