Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps, while performing manual testing for validation and accuracy. The role spans building regression suites, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with product and customer-facing teams to ensure quality across the SDLC and releases.

You will work with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile, test Electron and React Native apps, and leverage AI tools to review QA outputs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their output.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manual validation and accuracy testing per defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests; document results.
• Record detailed feature behavior and pass/fail criteria; link to bugs.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across SDLC and releases.
• Assist customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimation.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
