CookUnity, an Argentina‑based remote employer, seeks an Accounting Lead to supervise day‑to‑day accounting operations and drive month‑end closes. You will partner with the Senior Accounting Manager to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance across the accounting team.

The role emphasizes coaching, process improvements, and cross‑functional collaboration with Operations and Supply Chain in a fast‑paced environment. A US GAAP background and NetSuite proficiency are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 4–6 years accounting experience with strong exposure to US GAAP.
• 1+ year of experience supervising or leading junior accounting staff.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily activities of the accounting team, including task allocation and deadline tracking.
• Review work prepared by team members (journal entries, reconciliations, support schedules).
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure quality and development.
• Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with policies.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on open items.
• Coordinate and execute month‑end close activities and assist with variance analysis.
