Belong needs a senior accountant who combines technical depth, hands‑on execution, and leadership in a lean team in Buenos Aires. You will lead the automation‑enabled close, own complex entries, supervise automated processes, and ensure timely books and reporting.

As day‑to‑day accounting lead, you coordinate month‑, quarter‑, and year‑end closings with the Finance Operations Specialist and AR & Collections Specialist, apply US GAAP, and partner with the Finance Data Engineer to improve the

• 5+ to 9 years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience with close ownership.
• Experience in a venture-backed startup or fast-growing company is required.
• Ability to lead a close in a lean team and own complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial-statement preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead an automation-enabled close and own the close calendar.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations for material accounts and review complex reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Lead external audit activities and respond to auditor questions.
• Set accounting standards and policies; ensure audit readiness throughout the year.
• Collaborate with Finance Data Engineer to improve automated postings and close workflows.
