CookUnity is seeking an Accounting Lead to oversee the accounting team, ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies. You will partner with the Senior Accounting Manager to support month‑end close and drive process improvements.

This role focuses on hands‑on execution, team supervision, and cross‑functional collaboration within a fast‑paced, remote environment, with a USD payroll model and strong emphasis on internal controls and audits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 4–6 years of accounting experience with strong exposure to US GAAP.
• Hands‑on US GAAP experience in journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, close.
• 1+ year supervising or leading junior accounting staff.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily accounting team activities and track deadlines.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Support month‑end close and provide variance analysis for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting processes and internal controls.
• Assist with external audits and process improvements.
• Act as primary contact for AP/AR and other teams.
