Scale Up is seeking an Accounting Manager for a U.S.-based live events and audiovisual production company. You will own the books end-to-end, ensuring accurate, decision-ready financial information and adherence to U.S. GAAP.

Work fully remote from LATAM with a flexible schedule around U.S. Eastern Time, typically 40–48 hours per week. You will lead the monthly close, manage reconciliations, and drive job costing and revenue recognition.

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience managing monthly close processes and reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with job costing and revenue recognition.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day accounting activities under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead the monthly close process accurately and on schedule.
• Manage revenue recognition for production contracts, show settlements, and non-standard deals.
• Maintain accurate job costing across events and productions.
• Handle intercompany transactions and one-time accounting activities.
• Establish transaction-recording standards and guide the HR & Finance Coordinator.
• Reconcile accounts and independently resolve discrepancies or process gaps.
• Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready financial records.
• Provide leadership with clear and reliable financial information.
