Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional LATAM SAM team. You will manage licensing across multiple publishers, interpret terms, and maintain records to ensure compliance and optimized costs.

The role requires strong licensing knowledge, attention to detail, and collaboration with IT, procurement and finance teams to support timely service delivery. The successful candidate will handle high‑volume requests, drive process improvements, and contribute to licensing

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management with licensing responsibilities.
• Knowledge of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience across a broad software portfolio and multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, and audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and adapt between publishers and requests.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.
• Fluent in English and Spanish for regional/global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers.
• Maintain asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive SAM process improvements.
