Job summary

WSP seeks a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM function across LATAM and beyond. You will handle licensing requests, interpret terms across publishers, and maintain asset records to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

The role demands practical SAM experience, familiarity with various licensing models, and collaboration with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to resolve licensing needs and escalations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM licensing experience and IT Asset Management background.
• Understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent, named-user, cloud).
• Experience managing a large software portfolio and renewals.
• Familiarity with entitlements, compliance, optimization, audits.
• Ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers.
• Maintain accurate asset and entitlement records.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits, and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors.
