Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team, supporting licensing decisions for a large software portfolio across Latin America and international regions.

You will manage licensing requests, renewals, entitlements and compliance in a fast-paced, multi-publisher environment, collaborating with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to optimize software usage and costs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM or IT Asset Management with significant responsibilities.
• Understand licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, utilization, compliance, audits.
• High-volume prioritization and fast adaptation across publishers.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication and collaboration across regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
