Job summary

Jan De Nul Group is seeking a QHSSE Officer to implement and monitor our QHSSE policy on board and on site in Argentina, with base in Buenos Aires. You will work with crews, project teams, and the QHSSE Advisor to ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met.

You should have a degree in a relevant field and some QHSSE experience, plus familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001, and fluent Spanish and English. Flexibility for on-call hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• First experience in a QHSSE role.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; knowledge of local regulations.
• Good verbal and written Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Follow QHSSE management systems for vessels or work location assigned.
• Support QHSSE documentation such as plans and emergency docs.
• Carry out QHSSE inspections on board and on site.
• Participate in internal and external audits and track corrective actions.
• Contribute to risk analyses with operational teams.
• Monitor QHSSE KPIs and report on them.
• Deliver toolbox talks and training to crews and staff.
• Encourage continuous QHSSE improvement on site.
