QualityAI is seeking a QA Engineer to join our team remotely in Argentina or Mexico. The role focuses on functional testing, API validation, and backend testing, with close collaboration to US-based stakeholders and requiring strong English communication.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years in QA, hands-on testing experience, test design skills, and Agile experience. Knowledge of SQL and Postman is valued.

Formación

• Experience creating and executing test plans and test scenarios.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.

• Perform backend testing and data validation using SQL.
• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to requirements refinement.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns effectively.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer with strong experience in functional testing, API validation, and backend testing. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills, the ability to quickly adapt to new applications, and a strong attention to detail.

This role requires close collaboration with US-based stakeholders, making advanced English communication skills essential for success.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Strong experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications and business processes
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience working in Agile environments
