QualityAI in Argentina is seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our growing team with remote work options. You will perform manual testing, develop and execute test scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality.

The role emphasizes thorough testing, regression checks, Agile participation, and creating test documentation. Ideal candidate has at least 3 years of manual testing experience and strong attention to detail.

Location: Argentina (remote)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mid-level proficiency and a strong ability to quickly learn new applications. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and execute test scripts based on project User Stories and Acceptance Criteria and specifications.
• Identify and document software defects and retest defects once fixed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
• Ramp up on business application knowledge quickly
• Provide input into the design and improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Identify and test edge cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and uncover potential issues that may not be captured by the acceptance criteria alone.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developers to gain clarity on User Stories and gather additional information to enhance the testing process.
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and gather feedback on test cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and backlog refinement, to contribute to the refinement and improvement of User Stories.
• Ability to locate the necessary test data, and/or create new or modify existing data

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
