ABB in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Buyer/Planner to plan and create production schedules for specific work centers based on demand and stock replenishment. You will review material requirements and issue work orders and purchase orders to meet schedules.

You will collaborate with production and suppliers, maintain inventory data, provide status updates to customers, and drive continuous improvement in MRP/ERP processes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of planning experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or relevant field.
• 3+ years' experience in a materials acquisition/planning role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Review and distribute production work packages and shipment schedules, and obtain information on materials and priorities.
• Lead the daily service section of the Gemba walk and coordinate with supervisors on progress and dates.
• Compile reports on inventory levels, costs, and production/purchasing issues; provide customers with status updates.
• Coordinate material needs with Production and outside supplier personnel to ensure flow to meet schedules.
• Communicate with facility personnel and customers to coordinate processing and shipping requirements and resolve service issues.
