Medallia is seeking a Principal Context & Knowledge Systems Engineer to define and build the knowledge architecture powering AI across Medallia. You will design enterprise-scale systems for memory, retrieval, grounding, and real-time context, enabling permission-aware AI experiences across products and platforms.

This hybrid role requires onsite presence in the Buenos Aires vicinity three days per week, with collaboration across global teams and initiatives.

Formación

• - 10+ years building large-scale distributed systems or data platforms.
• - Experience with RAG systems, vector search, or contextual AI infrastructure.
• - Experience with graph databases, vector databases, and semantic retrieval.
• - Understanding embeddings, ranking, and retrieval evaluation.
• - Designing scalable metadata, ontology, or taxonomy systems.
• - Proficient in Python, Java, Go, or similar backend languages.
• - Experience with streaming systems and real-time data pipelines.
• - Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives.
• - Fluent in English, oral and written.

Responsabilidades

• Architect enterprise knowledge graph architectures representing relationships and context.
• Define semantic models, ontologies, metadata standards, and taxonomy strategies.
• Build cross-system semantic federation across products and platforms.
• Develop knowledge normalization, enrichment, lineage, and governance.
• Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) infrastructure at scale.
• Lead memory, identity-aware intelligence, and real-time context enrichment pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and drive long-term technical strategy.
