Job summary

Andworx is hiring a Power BI Developer to build visually pleasing, accurate data visualizations, reports, and dashboards for a federal government customer. You’ll partner with stakeholders in an agile environment to elicit requirements and deliver rich BI solutions that tell data stories with strong UX.

The role emphasizes developing end-to-end BI visuals, maintaining dashboards, and presenting insights to leadership, with a hybrid on-site requirement and DC-area proximity noted.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations with 5+ years using Power BI.
• Experience ingesting, transforming data, and building relationships from various feeds.
• Strong presentation skills to stakeholders and leadership.
• Relational database experience with SQL Server or similar.
• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience; background security check possible.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards following best practices.
• Translate business requirements into intuitive analytical solutions and dashboards.
• Visualize data from multiple sources in a single platform for complex solutions.
• Provide operational support for existing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Understand data models and perform data analysis.
• Connect to diverse data sources and transform data for Power BI.
• Collaborate on solutioning to tune performance and resolve bottlenecks.
• Create written and visual reports; provide end-user training and demos.
