Job summary

Andworx seeks a Power BI Developer to craft visually compelling data visualizations and dashboards for a federal government client. The role emphasizes fast-paced, collaborative delivery, with a focus on usability, design, and storytelling through BI reports.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in data visualization, strong SQL/Power BI skills, and experience presenting to leadership. The position is hybrid, with on-site work up to 2 days weekly in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI
• Experience ingesting data from Oracle, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Excel sources
• Ability to present dashboards to stakeholders and leadership
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder and SSRS is preferred
• Familiarity with Power Query, R, and Python for data transformation
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• U.S Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using best practices
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and dashboards
• Integrate data from multiple sources into a single platform for analysis
• Provide operational support for existing Power BI dashboards and reports
• Understand data models and schemas; perform data analysis
• Connect to data sources and transform data for Power BI
• Collaborate on performance tuning and issue resolution in BI pipelines
• Provide end-user training and demonstrations to stakeholders
